Cry COOL!!

Every time you walk into your workspace do you cry?
Or do you cry COOL!!

Your space affects how you work, what you work on and what you produce.
Play with the design to reflect your organization’s mission and goals, personality and creative nature. It doesn’t have to cost a lot, it doesn’t have to be out of this world, it has to SCREAM you!

An hour before a haircut

Ever stop to think, one hour before you step into the hair salon/barber, that this hour is the last that you and others will ever see yourself in the same way? If you're a guy you can't wait to go and get your unruly hair taken care of, you just want it to be easy. If you're a gal your hair has never looked better so you think, 'why am I going in to get my hair cut?'

You've got one hour before the transformation. Do you go with the same style (the one you've had for 15 years)? Do you tell the hair dresser to do anything s/he wants? Do you decide on a major change? Do you even think about it beforehand?

It may not be something that you think about. Hair can change lives. Tanis cut off her long ponytail and donated it for cancer patient wigs, Wanda shaved her head for charity, Joan changed her hairstyle to take a risk and build confidence. Lava Hair gathered unused product and gave it to a women's shelter.

Every single act we do, gift we're given, skill we have can have a deep impact. Stop to think one hour before...It could be the last hour that you and others will ever see yourself in the same way.

During this season of gratitude, thank you all for connecting.

Wordle

You’ve seen them, maybe heard about them, now you can make them and use them to bundle ideas, to sort out information and to spawn new ways of seeing and thinking about data.

Generate your own ‘word cloud’. It’s as easy as:

1. Log on to www.wordle.net
2. Click on ‘create’ and input your ‘data’
3. Voila, you’ve create a wordle. Use it, print it, send it off, bring it to the next meeting or post it on your wall.

You can play with the text font, colours and layout. Have a look at their samples.

There's another cool tool that's free as well, it's called a PersonalBrain where you can create webs of ideas or files. If your mind needs to organize in a different manner check it out at www.thebrain.com
